Augustów, the town where routes towards Warsaw, Białystok and Olsztyn converge, is the most convenient place to set off on the journey to Kopytkowo.

From Augustów, travel south towards direction of Warsaw. Leaving Augustów turn left onto the route19 (leading to Białystok). Continue for about 5 km to Białobrzegi village and take the right turn at the fork to Dolistowo. Pass Grabowe, Grądy, Kopiec and Wrotki villages. When you come to another fork at Dębowo take the right turn (to the left is Jagłowo). Continue for about 2 km until you reach the Augustów Canal lock. From thereon the route is marked by wooden signs.  Turn left after the lock and then right in Jasionowo. A little later you will see the observation tower located at our campsite.
